Registration/Admissions for 2008-2009 school year

OLR will begin accepting applications for new students for the 2008-2009 school year on Feb. 12. Current students will have first priority, with registration accepted beginning Jan. 28 and applications for siblings of current students accepted on Feb. 11.

To apply, please submit a completed registration form, fee of $250 (new students) and copies of the child's SC Immunization certificate, Birth Certificate, Baptismal Certificate (if Catholic) with raised seal, latest report card and a recommendation from the child’s current teacher.

OLR Active Parishoner Tuition

OLR School must receive written confirmation from the church office that the family is an active member of the church. The church, not the school, determines and defines who is an active parishioner. A family must be active OLR parishoners for three months before being eligible for OLR parishoner rates.

OLR Church Active Parishoner Tuition Policy
1. A child enrolled at OLR School must be a baptized Catholic.
2. The family must be registered and active members of the OLR Church. Active membership is determined by three points: Registration in the parish for at least three months; faithful attendance of Mass on Saturdays or Sundays and Holy Days; use of the envelope system in support of the parish.
3. Extenuating circumstances will be referred to the church office.

Catholic Non-Parishoner Tuition

Each year, the school must receive confirmation from the family's home parish of eligibility for Catholic tuition rates. If confirmation is not received, the family will then be charged the non-Catholic rate.

Notes
-- Yearly tuition paid in full by Aug. 1, 2008, will receive a 2% discount.
-- Tuition may be paid in 10 monthly installments, beginning on Aug. 1, 2008 with a final payment on May 1, 2009. Tuition is considered past due at 3 p.m. on the first school day of each month. Tuition received after that time will be assessed a $35 late fee.
-- There will be a $35 fee for any returned checks.

Fees Registration Fee
For returning students: $225 per child on or before February 8th; $250 per child after February 8th.
For new students: $250 per child on or before March 1; $275 per child after March 1.

Comprehensive Fee (Books, Capital Improvement)
$300 per child if paid on or before June 1; $350 per child if paid after June 1.

If OLR School does not receive the comprehensive fee by June 1st then the child is placed on the wait list. New applicants not accepted will receive a $150 refund of the registration fee. No refund will be issued to students accepted for admission who do not attend the school. The wait list fee is $75.
