OLR's John Paul II Youth Group has gotten of to a great start this year! We have a large group of new members and as well as a good return from the upper grades.

We had a great turnout for our Fall Retreat at Look Up Lodge and we have many activities scheduled for this year. Over 30 Young Franciscans and John Paul II members went ice skating the last weekend in September.

In October we plan to participate in the annual United Minstries Walk for the Homeless.

Our retreat at Look-Up Lodge in Traveler's Rest was an amazing experience. Thanks to Father Dac for his inspiration and for celebrating Mass with us!

The JP II Youth Band is going strong. We need more members - people who play instruments and singers. We will be burning a CD of our first song "Mary Did You Know" later in the year.
